Description

This T-shirt was created for Barry Cowden, 2nd generation owner of Don Chilito’s, who insisted on incorporating The Grateful Dead into a piece of memorabilia. We laughed as he envisioned the idea and just went with it. We are so glad we trusted him on this because even if you don’t know the history of the lyrics, it turned out to be one cool shirt! It is a play on the lyrics from The Grateful Dead song “He’s Gone” released in 1972. Barry is excited to see these shirts on Don Chilito’s fans throughout Kansas City and hopefully on other Grateful Dead Heads around the country!

All of our T-shirts are printed on a high-quality shirt. There are lots of options out there but we wanted a shirt that fits and feels amazing. Most importantly, we chose this shirt specifically so it will last! We want you to be able to wear this piece of memorabilia and not just have it sitting in the back of your closet. This isn’t just a t-shirt, it is a piece of memorabilia from one of your favorite restaurants in Kansas City! Wear it proudly!

The insanely-soft combination of a 60/40 combed ring spun cotton and polyester make this shirt the most wearable and huggable shirt in your closet.

A set-in CVC 1×1 baby rib collar is a subtle design play that makes this shirt look more fashionable than a typical t-shirt. Side seams help the fitting around the torso and is more flattering than the usual boxy appearance of many t-shirts. Here are the specs:

  • 4.3 oz., 60/40 combed ring spun cotton/polyester, 32 singles
  • Fabric laundered
  • Set-in CVC 1×1 baby rib collar
  • Side seams
  • Tearaway label
